The MKC´s trademark originally designed for Ono Kiyoshi Kendo forms a look and feel of the sword´s guard. Our Club has been using this trademark for many years and proudly presents it on all promotional materials for the Club.

This is Ono Sensei´s family Mon. The MKC are proud to display it on their Do´s protector to honour Ono Sensei´s legacy.

Mission Statement

In accordance with the "Principles of Kendo", the members of the Montreal Kendo Club will train diligently to be able to play an integral role in raising the standards of Kendo in Quebec and thereby carry on the legacy of Kiyoshi Ono Sensei.

The Montreal Kendo Club is a non-profit organization which promotes Kendo in Quebec and offers quality services to its members.
